Demone “Rocky” Harlan started cooking and catering in 2012 out of his mother's home in North Nashville. He is well known for serving the community with numerous Block Parties, Wing Nights and Special events. Catering occasions such as weddings, office events, baby showers and family reunions across the greater Nashville. In 2017, Rocky teamed up with a friend and opened his first brick & mortar in a local gas station. After a year, Rocky’s Wing Shack was relocated back to the heart of North Nashville.
Known for his unique, made from scratch flavors; Strawberry Kick, Sweet N Spicy and Honey Gold, Rocky’s became a staple for comfort food in Nashville. Not limited to wings, Rocky’s Wing Shack also serves Soul food, Fried Fish and its staple item Juug Burgers, honorably named after the late Howard “Juug” Griffin. Keeping the community in mind, Rocky continues to give back with holiday feedings, school events and most importantly jobs.
